Other data pack features worth mentioning.

Changes to Entity Loot

Some mobs in the game have their loot tables modified to better fit the Barely Default vision.

Creepers

Now drop more music discs when killed by a skeleton.

Chickens

Chickens when killed drop 1 raw chicken instead of anything higher.

Ender Dragon

Has a 1% chance to drop a dragon egg when killed by a player.

Evokers

Now drop named variants available for totems of undying from the resource pack.

Goats

Mutton is now available as a drop from goats; can be cooked if killed by an ignition source like fire, lava, fire aspect or flame.

Husks

Has a 50% chance to drop sand on death.

Illusioners

Drop ominous bottles if they are made raid captains/patrol leaders.

Squid

Drops a new food source when killed by a player called calamari. Provides 3 nutrition and 0.4 saturation when consumed.

Glow Squid

Drops a new food source when killed by a player called glow calamari. Provides 3 nutrition, 0.4 saturation and 10 seconds of glowing when consumed.

Changes to Chest Loot

Some loot tables have been modified to include new data pack items.

Potion of Mining

A new potion only obtainable in monster rooms and mineshafts. Provides night vision and haste for 3 minutes when consumed.

Staff Enchantments

The Range and Fast Cast enchantments can only be found in the Nether and End dimension. Players have a chance to find them in bastion remnants and end cities.

Some blocks have been modified to include new data pack items.

Cherry Leaves

Cherry leaves can drop a new food item, cherries, when the block is broken or naturally decays. Cherries provide 2 nutrition and 0.4 saturation when consumed.

Echo Shard

The echo shard is a new trim material that can be applied with a smithing template in a smithing table.
