Biomes

This is where you can find all the new Barely Default biomes and their biome details.

Coral Cove

The coral cove is renamed after the Coral Rise level in Minecraft Dungeons, which is also where it gains its inspired terrain from. This ocean biome is teeming with life of both tropical fish and a new hostile mob: the tropical slime. Bright corals, new coral terrain, stone ledges, exposed ores, deep crevices and sandy/gravel pathways make up the features in this biome. This is a warm biome.

Like swamp biomes, firefly particles are visible throughout the biome but only at night. Creepers take priority over other mobs that spawn in this biome. This is a temperate biome.

Ice Desert

The naturally generated trees are a unique to this biome and cannot be grown. This provides an excellent source of pumpkins as they are incredibly abundant here with occasional 2x2x2 pumpkins generating.
