This page is dedicated to the new smithing templates and trim materials.

There are 10 unique armor patterns and over 30 new trim materials added in the data pack.

If your trim material isn't functioning properly in the smithing table, try holding the item in your main hand first. Existing items prior to version 2.7 don't have the "provides trim material" component and will need to be modified. For example: copy "/trigger modify_armadillo_scute" to modify an armadillo scute or "/trigger modify_lava_bucket" to modify a lava bucket
